山口線のSLやまぐち号です。山陽新幹線の新山口駅と島根県の津和野駅との間で、3月～11月の週末・夏休み・ゴールデンウイークなどに運行されています。正月にも運行されます。2007年4月29日は山口市出身の詩人中原中也の生誕百年にあたるので、中也をイメージしたヘッドマークが付いて運転されました。オマケで500系新幹線の映像もあります。Steam Locomotive Yamaguchi in Yamaguchi Line. Between Shin Yamaguchi Station and Tsuwano station, it drive for the weekend, a summer vacation and the Golden Week from March to November.It also drive for New Year holidays. April 29, 2007 was a birthday of 100 years old of famous poet Chuya Nakahara.He was born in Yamaguchi.So the head mark that imaged him was attached to the steam locomotive.There is the scene of the 500 series Shinkansen, too.
