幻の秘湯は存在した。アメリカはカリフォルニア。サンノゼエリアから6時間、それは山奥にひっそりとあった。壮大な景色、真横を流れる川、見渡す限りの大自然。男達は2時間風呂で夢や野望を語り合った。Remington Hot Springs are in the Sequoia National Forest, near Lake Isabella in the foothills of the Sierra mountains in central California. From Bakersfield (where it is worth stopping at Dewars on Eye & California for the yummy mammoth sundaes and shakes), the drive up by car on Highway 178 leads through the spectacular Kern River Canyon, a wild rafting river. From Isabella you thread through suburbs to Bodfish. The alternate choice to Miracle Hot Springs (now closed) on the Lower Kern River. Remington is by far, one of the nicest primtitive hot tubs in the whole region. If you can find it, the rewards are great!! Can be crowded on weekends. If the dirt parking lot is totally full, come back later. These stone tubs are located on the Lower Kern, overlooking the fish. 3 cement & River Rock hot spring pools sit adjacent to the Kern River. This prime spot is located a few miles west of Miracle Hot Springs & is very low key: dirt parking lot, no signs & the tubs are not viewable from the road. From parking area, you will hike down a steep grassy trail for less than a mile. Bring towels, beverages & everything you will need from the vehicle, as turning around to go back & get everything half way down will prove to be a challenging trail up. Boulders & oaks on steep hillsides. A few campsites down along main trail. Wildflowers here are wonderful in Spring (April-May). Please pick up litter & keep this place beautiful.Act by Kohei Asano, Masaru ito, Eishiro KoshiCreated by Kohei Asano http://koheijapan.blog71.fc2.com/
